What roast profile do you handle? Our coffees are generally considered “medium” roast. The coffees that we work with are of very high quality and we roast the beans according to the best parameters to enhance the final product in a cup. Is the coffee roasted? We do not add any flavoring or sweetener to our coffee. We use tasting notes on our packaging as a way to describe the nuances in each coffee, noting things like brightness, sweetness, and body. Don’t be alarmed if you can’t find everything in the package. Taste only matters in context. What do you like? Looking for a light bodied coffee or something more intense? Is the coffee ground? All the coffee we offer is coffee beans (and if you ask for ground, tell us your method). One of the most important variables in the production of a great cup of coffee is the correct grinding and we recommend doing it just before preparing it. The moment you grind your coffee, it begins to oxidize, accelerating the aging process. Freshly ground coffee will give you the best possible coffee experience and will keep your fresh coffee better. How do I save it? The best way to store coffee is to store it whole grain (if you can molecule only the amount you are going to use at the time of preparation) in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. PLEASE DO NOT STORE THE COFFEE IN THE REFRIGERATOR. Moving beans in and out of the refrigerator each time you brew coffee can introduce moisture into the beans, which can lead to mold growth and coffee breakdown. Similarly, coffee easily absorbs the flavor of the things around it. Be careful when choosing a container to store it, and keep in mind that storing it near smelling foods or spices can change the taste of the coffee. What grains do they have? Check this link to see what grains we have at that time!
